These policies exist to protect your safety and wellbeing and to ensure we can provide the highest standard of care to every client. By booking with us you confirm that you have read and agree to comply with the policies below. If you have questions before your appointment we are always happy to help.
All new clients are required to complete a health questionnaire before their first appointment. Please complete it honestly and in full — it is the foundation of your safe treatment journey.
For many treatments — particularly injectables and regenerative therapies — an initial consultation is required before treatment. The consultation allows our practitioner to assess suitability, understand your goals, and create a personalised plan. A £30 deposit secures your consultation and is fully redeemable against any treatment.
Please aim to arrive a few minutes early. If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we may be unable to extend your appointment into another client’s time.
Your safety is our highest priority. Before proceeding with any treatment our practitioner will carry out a thorough assessment covering your relevant health history, current medications, known allergies, skin condition, and treatment goals.
We reserve the right to decline or postpone any treatment if, in the professional judgment of our practitioner, it is not safe or appropriate for you at that time. This will always be explained clearly. Where possible we will suggest suitable alternatives.
Our practitioner’s professional judgment is final in all treatment decisions. Their priority is always your wellbeing.
All treatments at Polished Beauty London are available to individuals aged 18 years and over only, without exception and regardless of parental or guardian consent. We may ask for proof of age at any appointment.
Many of our treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please inform us before your appointment if this applies to you. Our practitioner will advise which treatments, if any, can safely proceed.
The following treatments are contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding:
This list covers our current treatment menu. A full assessment will be carried out at consultation for any client who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
Please disclose all relevant medical conditions and current medications — including prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, supplements, vitamins, and herbal remedies — at consultation and again before each subsequent treatment.
Conditions and medications that may affect treatment include, but are not limited to:
If you are unsure whether something is relevant, please mention it. We would always rather know.
Please disclose all known allergies — including to foods, latex, medications, or skincare ingredients — as part of your consultation. This information is critical for your safety. Key treatment-specific considerations:
| Treatment | Allergy Consideration |
|---|---|
| Skin boosters & Profhilo | Contains hyaluronic acid — disclose any known reactions |
| PRP (Vampire Facial / Hair) | Requires a blood draw — disclose relevant conditions or needle phobia |
| Vitamin injections | Disclose reactions to B vitamins, vitamin C, D, biotin, or glutathione |
| Skin peels (Green Peel) | Disclose sensitivity to active botanical or herbal ingredients |
| Fat dissolving | Disclose relevant skin or injectable sensitivities |
| Hydrafacials | Disclose any active skin conditions or sensitivity to exfoliating ingredients |
Certain treatments require a patch test before the full session to identify any risk of allergic reaction. If required, you will be informed at booking or consultation. A separate patch test appointment will be arranged in advance of your treatment date.
We cannot proceed with treatments requiring a patch test until a satisfactory result has been obtained. This requirement cannot be waived. It is in place for your protection.
Professional photographs — taken to document your treatment progress as part of your client record — are a routine part of most treatments. Before-and-after photographs are taken as standard. These are stored securely and are not shared externally without your consent.
Where we wish to use your photographs for any other purpose — including on our website, social media (@polishedbeautylondon / @polishedbeautyglow), printed materials, or portfolio case studies — we will always request your separate, explicit, written consent before doing so.
We do not permit clients to photograph or film our practitioners or treatment environment during appointments without prior agreement.
You are welcome to bring a trusted person to your appointment for support. Please let us know in advance as our treatment rooms have limited space. In certain circumstances our practitioner may request a chaperone be present — if so, you will be informed in advance.
For the safety and comfort of all clients we kindly ask that children under 16 are not brought to treatment appointments. Our clinic environment is not suitable for children to wait unattended. If you cannot make alternative arrangements, please contact us in advance.
We are committed to providing a calm, professional, and inclusive environment for all clients and team members. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards behaviour that is aggressive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or sexually inappropriate. We reserve the right to end an appointment and refuse future bookings if a client behaves inappropriately. Deposits paid will be forfeited in such circumstances.
Aftercare instructions will be provided after each treatment, verbally and/or in writing. It is your responsibility to follow this guidance. Failure to do so may affect your results and, in some cases, your safety.
If you experience unexpected symptoms following a treatment, contact us immediately at +44 7802462792. For serious medical concerns, contact NHS 111 or attend your nearest A&E department.
Aesthetic treatment results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. Outcomes are influenced by individual biology, skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and adherence to aftercare guidance.
Our practitioner will always provide honest, realistic expectations before any treatment proceeds. We do not promise specific outcomes. Any photographs used in our materials represent individual results and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of the same outcome for all clients.
Our commitment is to deliver our best possible skill and care for every client, every time.
We reserve the right to decline or stop a treatment where:
Our practitioner’s professional judgment is final. A refusal will always be explained clearly and respectfully.
Our Aesthetic Membership is a flexible monthly subscription. Key terms:

Personal and health information you provide is held and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please refer there for full details of how we handle, store, and protect your information.
